warm fuzzies

Trees.  Sometimes, I go a bit overboard planting them. At the last place I lived, I planted trees along the perimeter of the whole back yard, so I could feel like I was stepping out into a secret, private park. (btw, most of the surrounding lots were flat with no trees, so I was a bit of an oddity.)

When it came time to move, the real estate agent took one look at my yard, then asked, "What's with all the trees?"

I love trees, too. For shade, for privacy, just for beauty. I remember when my youngest brother did a stint in Texas in the Air Force. When he got back, he said the best thing about New England, and what he missed the most, was all the TREES. He said down there, any bush more than waist high was called a 'tree', but they didn't know what REAL trees looked like!!
