Writer's Block: Tolerance 101?

If you could create/select a new subject that had to be taught in high school, what would it be, and why?

“The United States has the highest rate of teen pregnancy and births in the western industrialized world. Thirty-four percent of young women become pregnant at least once before they reach the age of 20 -- about 820,000 a year.” *

It doesn’t take an expert to realize that something has gone terribly wrong in our culture.

And is it any wonder?

Our teens are being bombarded from every angle with all the wrong information telling them how dating is supposed to look…

We have movies. We have internet. We have television reality programs with 25 women competing for the affections of one man (or vice versa). 

It’s not working.
 
It’s time to get back to the basics.

It’s time to change our mindset and recognize that maybe God had a better plan for us all along. Maybe His way of doing things can prevent a lifetime of heartache.

The mandatory (not elective) class that I vote for is this:

Dating 101: Preparing for a Lifetime of Happiness


And, the first required reading book would be…
