Screamin' Pink and Yellow Yarrow

I was talking to my neighbor this morning. She was telling me how the deer have come in and decimated her flowers. I suggested she plant some yarrow in the midst of those beautiful flowers and the deer will run. That’s what I did.

This year, no deer have dared to enter my garden.

They look like blooming weeds, and people who pass by think… “Oh look at that…pretty weeds.”
Little do they know that they were strategically placed amongst the weeds beyond my property line for a specific plan and purpose.

Shhh….It’s our secret.

Bloom where you are planted, even if people mistake you for a weed. You WILL make a difference.

Some of the places we hike have deer, but it's pretty 'developed' where we live. Although bands of wild turkeys are getting more common in our neighborhoods!!

I didn't even realize those were weeds. They look great. I need to take another trip down there soon. Maybe we should get some of those mosquito candle things and place them strategically around the garden. I always get bit when I go down there.
