Writer's Block: Gone with the wind

What three things do you think will become obsolete in the next ten years, and why?

Photobucket

How can I limit it to three things?

I can pretty much guarantee you that every ultra high-tech fancy newfangled gadget that you love and use will be obsolete. So where shall we start?

iphones…obsolete!

Big screen tvs….obsolete!

Digital recordings, mp3 players, ipods, itouch, …all obsolete!

But, enough about our gadgets. Let’s talk about something that hits much deeper to our hearts.

♫ MONEY, MONEY, MONEY, MONEY, MONEY ♫

Money makes the world go round. And money, as we know it, will become obsolete.

Every financial institution will collapse and we will be forced in to one world money system. No cash, no credit cards. Just an ultra-compact high tech microchip placed in the hand (or forehead), invisible to the human eye. Clever. No more identity theft. No more credit card fraud.

There will arise one world ruler and this leader will force everyone to take the microchip.
The rule will be: No buying or selling without that chip. Period.

Here’s the catch…Accepting that chip will cost you your soul.

Don’t believe me?

Read all about it in the Bible. These aren’t my original predictions. They are God’s.

The events are inevitable. They may not happen in the next 10 years. But, they WILL happen.

Forget your fancy gadgets that will soon be obsolete anyway. Get your soul ready. It’s coming…

“He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666.” Revelation 13:17-18

I hope not, too. But some people alive today will be living through this. I believe it's that close. God will strengthen us for every step of our journey.

These things always trouble my soul and this is why: John who wrote Revelation also said he was living in the last days. Paul also talked about the spirit of the antichrist being present in his time and living in the last days. A day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like a day unto the Lord. Pre trib, mid trip, post trib no matter how you belive one will have to be prepared for the worse and pray for the best as there is nothing concrete in the scriptures that we can land on safely without tweaking things. Even John was told to eat the scrolls (of the revelation) and it would be sweet like honey but bitter in the stomach. What a wonderful yet terrible day that will be.

We just can't let the oil in our lamps go out. If we do, scripture says we'll miss Him when he comes.

Yes,one day is like a thousand but we always have to be watching. Can't help but think the world stage is being set and we are closer than ever. The birth pangs are getting closer and closer. We already have the technology to insert microchips. The vet offerered to put one in our dog.

A cashless society makes sense in this day and age.
It didn't make sense even 50 years ago.

Yes, one day your beloved iPod will be like an 8 track.
Oh, wait...do you even know what an 8 track is??

I don't believe I've ever encountered an 8 track. It looks like the link you provided might be a bit glitchy, but I'll go research it. Even when the technology changes, I will always remember my iPod fondly. I have it stocked full of encouraging songs, so listening to just one of those songs is like taking one of those wheatgrass shots at Jamba Juice. http://bit.ly/dmFTXd

Where can I get some of that Jamba juice?
And, speaking of iPods, one day your kids will be saying, "I've never encountered an iPod but I'll go research it."

I just did a quick online search, and it looks like there's a Jamba Juice not too far from you. I can email you the address if you want to check it out!

I'd love to go get Jamba Juice! There really aren't any close to me. I think the last time I had it was when I was in Florida.
